Of the brands we track, Vuori has the longest stated window at 120 days, followed by Brooks and ASICS at 90 days and Nike and Reebok at 60 days. Most other brands, including Lululemon, Alo, Gymshark and Athleta, allow 30 days. Return windows, fees and conditions change, so confirm the current terms at checkout.
The table below lists every brand in our data with its window and a summary of the policy. Policies were read from each brand's own pages on 2026-10-07. Some brands' pages were incomplete or unreadable when we checked, so those entries are flagged as unverified rather than guessed.
The best policy depends on what you are buying. For shoes and fit-sensitive items like leggings, a long window and worn-return allowance matter most. For clothes you plan to try on only once, free return shipping may matter more.

The longest windows
- Vuori: 120 days. The brand's help center says gear bought on its site or in stores can be returned within 120 days with a refund to the original payment method. The excerpt we could read was truncated, so we could not confirm conditions, return shipping or final-sale rules. Read the full policy before assuming worn items qualify. See Vuori's brand page.
- Brooks: 90 days. The Run Happy trial lets you take gear for a 90-day trial run, with no shipping or restocking fee stated on the returns page. Conditions sit on a separate FAQ we did not read. See Brooks.
- ASICS: 90 days. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original packaging with tags. Returns are free for OneASICS members and in ASICS stores; otherwise $4.99 is deducted from the refund.
- Nike: 60 days. "We give you 60 days to try out your Nike purchase." Free for Nike Members, and items from Nike Clearance stores cannot be returned. See Nike.
- Reebok: 60 days. Free returns within 60 days of delivery by tracked UPS label, per its page, with the shipping fee not refunded.
Policies that allow worn shoes
If you want to run in shoes before deciding, the wording matters.
- Adidas says its 30 Day Guarantee for performance running shoes allows returns "in any condition" within 30 days. Its general return window and conditions could not be read, so those are unverified. See Adidas.
- NOBULL accepts worn or used items during its 30-day trial.
- HOKA has a Fly for 30 guarantee: 30 days "no questions asked" for a refund or exchange, with 60 days total for members, and HOKA reserves the right to refuse abuse. See HOKA.
- Brooks calls its program a trial run. Check the FAQ for what counts as acceptable.
Most apparel policies, by contrast, require items to be unworn and unwashed with tags attached. If you want to test a legging in a workout, do not assume that is allowed.
The 30-day group
- Lululemon: 30 days, items unworn and unwashed with tags and proof of purchase. "We Made Too Much" sale items are final sale unless you are a member. Who pays return shipping is not stated. See Lululemon.
- Alo Yoga: 30 days, with a pre-paid return label on US orders and a banner that says complimentary shipping and returns. See Alo.
- Gymshark: 30 days from delivery, unworn, unused, and with the care label intact. In the US, items with a final discount of 60% or more are final sale. Who pays return shipping is not stated. See Gymshark.
- Athleta: 30 days, with 45 days for Encore Premier members and up to 60 for All-Access cardmembers, and a $6 return fee for non-members. See Athleta.
- Girlfriend Collective: 30 days from ship date, though the page says it is being extended to 60 days. A $7 shipping and restocking fee applies to refunds, and exchanges are free. The extension may expire.
- Beyond Yoga: 30 days with a receipt, and free US shipping and returns, per its page.
- Ten Thousand: 30 days, but you have to mail the return back within 14 days of requesting it. Free shipping and returns over $150, with fees below.
- HOKA and NOBULL: 30 days, covered above under worn returns.
- Saucony: 30 days, free for unworn items from the website. Products bought after October 1, 2026 can be returned through January 31, 2027 (holiday extension).
- CRZ Yoga: 30 days from delivery, with customers responsible for return shipping, customs fees and taxes. Amazon purchases follow Amazon's policy.
45-day options
- Rhone: 45 days, no return shipping cost to you for US returns, though original shipping is not refunded. See Rhone.
- New Balance: 45 days; free in stores and for members online, and a $5 restocking fee for non-members online.
Unverified or incomplete policies
We could not read these policies in full. Do not rely on them without checking.
- Fabletics: the non-member return window was not stated on the membership page we read. VIP members get free returns and exchanges for qualifying orders. Membership is $69.95 a month per the page, with credits that lapse after 12 months, so read the terms before signing up. See Fabletics.
- On: the US return window could not be read. The 30-day Run Trial page says it applies in Switzerland and the UK only for now. Do not assume a US trial. See On.
- Under Armour: the policy text could not be read. A banner shows free standard shipping on orders of $99 and over and free returns.
- Outdoor Voices: the returns page showed only a heading.
- Panache: no official policy was read; retail partners' policies apply.

- Check final sale. Sale and clearance items are often excluded, so check the product page.
- Note deadlines. Windows start at delivery for some brands and at purchase or shipping for others.
- Photograph your return label and receipt.
- Check shipping fees. Free returns may be limited to members or a spend threshold.
