Is Brooks worth it?
Brooks is worth it if you want a dependable running shoe with a long return window and good support options. It is less exciting if you want a flashy, super-springy ride. We have not tested Brooks ourselves; this page summarizes the brand's published policies and the consensus of expert and owner reviews.
Brooks is a running-only brand, which shows in a lineup built around clear categories: neutral cushioned (Ghost, Glycerin) and stability (Adrenaline GTS). Prices sit in the mid tier for daily trainers.
What Brooks does best
Brooks is known for consistency and support. The Ghost is the common first pick for new runners, the Glycerin is the plusher option, and the Adrenaline GTS is a popular stability shoe. Reviewers commonly praise the fit and the fact that models change slowly from version to version.
